The studio
K10 is a small, senior studio built on one rule that has never changed. No account layer, no resourcing spreadsheet, no juniors learning on your budget — just the people you met, making the thing.
Wewerethepeoplewhogotcalledintofixthebeautifulprojectnobodycouldship.
We had spent years inside larger agencies, watching genuinely good design die somewhere between the presentation and the sprint board. The design was not the problem. The gap between the people who drew it and the people who had to build it was.
So K10 was built without the gap. Designers who can read a pull request. Engineers who have opinions about kerning. One room, one standard, and a deliberate cap on live projects — because attention is the thing you are actually buying.
We have stayed small on purpose, still work worldwide, and still turn down more work than we take. That is the model, not a phase.
02 / The gap
The same brief, taken two ways. One passes it down a chain; the other puts everyone at the table with it.

Every hand-off keeps a little less of the brief. By the time it is built, nobody in the room was in the first meeting.
K10
What reaches launch: the whole brief.
One table, one standard. Everyone works from the brief itself, so what launches is what was agreed.
03 / How we operate
No junior teams learning on your budget. The people in the pitch are the people doing the work — that is the whole staffing model.
You are not paying us to agree with you. We will tell you when the brief is wrong, in week one, when it is still cheap to change.
Presentations are not deliverables. We measure ourselves on what is live and working, not what looked good in a deck.
WCAG 2.2 AA is a floor, not a feature request. If a person cannot use it, it is not finished.
04 / Who you work with
Not a roster, a table: every discipline your project needs, working from the same brief, in the same room.
Holds the idea from the first call to the launch, and says no to anything that dilutes it.
Asks the questions nobody wants asked, while they are still cheap to answer.
Identity, product and systems, drawn by people who can read a pull request.
Builds what was designed, not an approximation of it — and has opinions about kerning.
Makes things move for a reason. Most of what makes you scroll back up on this site.
Every build passes through here before it passes to you. If a person cannot use it, it is not finished.
No reception to sign into. A distributed studio that keeps one set of hours and answers on whichever channel you prefer.
